3rd Annual Haas Staff Volunteer Day 2015

Join us for this Beyond Yourself event with Haas staff

We are returning to the Oakland Zoo to continue the excellent service we provided for the last two years.

Haas Staff Volunteer Day

Date: Wednesday, June 3, 2015

Lunch: 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Volunteer Time: 1:00-4:00pm (Buses will return to Haas at 5:00pm)

Location: Oakland Zoo

Cost: Free

Project Options: We have the opportunity again this year to sign up for three different zoo departments and participate in a variety of activities that help the animals and the staff. Although we won't know the specific activities until much closer to the day, you can sign up for a department. See the descriptions associated with the different ticket types. Please sign up for only (1) activity.

Animal Management: 50 spots

Horticultural Department: 50 spots

Education Department: 35 spots

Food & Transportation: Picnic lunch will be provided. We are also offering shuttle bus transportation to and from the zoo. Parking is provided if you prefer to drive or carpool (click here for directions: http://www.oaklandzoo.org/Directions.php)

Supervisors and managers are encouraged to approve up to five hours of administrative release time for participation in this activity, while ensuring essential operations continue.
